About Us
"Their backgrounds as pianist, composer, violinist, and conductor inform how they listen, structure, and make decisions, but it is their way of working that gives the studio its identity."
Fluere began in 2019 as a focused effort shaped by a shared understanding of music and its role in shaping experience. It was never built around scale or visibility, but around the idea that music, when handled with care and intention, can bring clarity and meaning to the work it supports.

Over time, that foundation has been carried forward and refined into what is now Fluere Studios, led by Joshua, Benjamin, Julian, and Oliver. Each brings a distinct perspective shaped by their own musical paths, yet the direction of the studio is not defined by any single role. It is shaped through alignment, discussion, and a shared responsibility for every outcome.

Work does not begin with a fixed template. It begins with conversation. Ideas are tested, reworked, and developed collectively, with an emphasis on understanding what the project truly calls for before any note is written. This process extends through a close circle of musicians who are involved not as external additions, but as part of an ongoing working relationship built on trust and familiarity.
Benjamin, Joshua, Oliver.
Their backgrounds as pianist, composer, violinist, and conductor inform how they listen, structure, and make decisions, but it is their way of working that gives the studio its identity. There is an attention to pacing, to balance, and to how individual elements sit within a larger whole. Not in a way that draws attention to itself, but in a way that allows the final work to feel resolved and complete.

Fluere Studios continues to build in this manner, with intent, and each project is approached as something to be shaped properly from the inside out, resulting in music that is not only fitting, but memorable in its presence.
